Scenic Season

For a very long time it has been a tradition for our family to head out to the forest or the u-cut Christmas Tree lot and cut down our tree. At the first of this month I went to Oregon to help my friend with her Christmas Tree Farm. While I was there I chose our Christmas tree. It came in on the train this last week and we will be heading to the valley to pick it up this weekend. Then on Sunday we can put up our tree and enjoy a week with our children sharing our time together.

Serene Snowflake Christmas Card

I love the colors of Christmas, red and green. But the color of Blue, White and Gold are the colors of the Nativity to me. On our Christmas tree we always have white lights and our ornaments are only Blue, White and Gold. So to me this is a beautiful Christmas card with the Serene Snowflakes in the back ground. My Christmas wish is that one day we will all have Peace, Love and Joy. This card was created by Daryl Micciche, Stampin Up Demonstrator.

Holy Family Christmas Card

I am sorry I have not posted for a week or two, but I did have a lovely time in Oregon at the Christmas Tree Farm.

This last week I have come to know that it is getting harder and harder to purchase a nativity. My sister went to five different stores and could not find even one. This is the season for remembering the Savior's birth. Therefore I am posting this card with the Holy family on it. My small way of sharing with others the reason for the season. This card was created by Joyce Wilson. I hope all of you have a wonderful Christmas.

The Lord is good to us all and I am happy I have met so many good people through Stampin Up. The friends I have made over the past four years are, in my eyes, tender mercies of the Lord to me. Thank you for coming to the Open Houses this past year. We have had some fun times.


The winners of the Hostess Benefits for this month are as follows, Gerri Clontz, Vickie Runyon, Autum Martin, and Marie Hancock. We had a wonderful time visiting with each other and making a Happy New Year Card.

Dasher Christmas Card

When you only have room for one of the reindeer, Dasher's your man! Stamp him once for a simple card, or multiple times to make up Santa's famous team! You will find Dasher in the back of your Current Catalog on page 208. I love that Stampin Up has added this idea of one stamp on this page so you can purchase a stamp that is less than $10.00. This card was created by Beth Roberts.

Tree Trimming Christmas Card

Don't you just love the colors in this card? This card was made with Stampin Up's Tree Trimming and Serene Snowflake Stamp Set. You will find Tree Trimming stamp set on page 28 in the Current Catalog and Serene Snowflake in the Holiday Mini Catalog on page 26 & 27. This would be a fun card to make for Christmas and send it out to all your fiends and family. This card was created by Sarah Attwater.

Christmas Music Expression

You can't have Christmas with out music. I love this stamp by Stampin Up. It is call Music Expression and is found on page 125. This card has been stamped with versa mark and then gold embossing powder was used to see the image. Then the colored items were colored with markers. This card was created by Susan Webster.

I don't know if you can see it, but a duck had decided to live in our pond. He hope he/she will find a mate and create some little baby duck. But we shall she. We don't know what to feed it so if you know please leave a comment letting us know.

Our Dec "Mystery Hostess" Stampin Up Open House will be on Saturday Dec. 12th at 10:00am. We will be meeting in the upper room above Ed's IGA, 160 N Main Street, Snowflake Arizona. This store is right across the street from where we were meeting in the past.

I love the way my students created their own card and swapped with others. I wanted to have mine for them also, but due to work and being prepared for these classes I was not able to get them done. Christmas Favor Box

This is a cute little box that you can get at Dollar Tree. You will find them in the wedding department at Dollar Tree. For one dollar you get 12 favor boxes. They come all white and so you have a wonderful blank canvas to work with. I love the way this one turned out. This is what I have my customers that brought a adult friend that is not on my mailing list.



The stamp set that I used was "The More the Merrier". That is level 3 stamp set.

November Open House

This month for our Open House we will be making the card that is shown below. The stamp set we will be using is "A Wish for Peace". Come and have an eventful afternoon with us. Third Week of Tuesday Night Stamp Class

Today is our Third week of Tuesday Night Stamp Classes! There are some really fun techniques we learning a doing!



This card is a punch glitter card.



This card is a fun Christmas card you can make. I like the way the ornament is clear embossed so that it looks like a real ornamnet.



This card has been stamped with the new Shimmer Paint that is sold in the New Holiday Mini Catalog. It is so much fun to use this Shimmer paint with rubber stamps.



This last card is made by using the "Magic Snowflake" Technique. All of these cards are fun to learn how to make. I will be teaching in Show Low in Oct. if you would like to join us. The classes are every Tuesday from 5:30pm to 8:00pm. I hope to see you there.

I love it when falls comes. The cool crisp air helps me sleep well and I know winter is on its way. The colors in this card are beautiful and depict fall well. This card was created by Jacynthe Gauthier.
