I took a picture of the heart close up so you could see that I used the Dazzling Diamonds on the light pink heart. Also for the background of the card I used the Dazzling Diamonds. I hope you can see that in the picture.

Baskets and Blooms Tutorial

I have had several people ask me to cut these cute little baskets out for them. Here is a simple tutorial so that, those that have receive these baskets, will know how to put them together.

This is a great little basket you can put together for that special someone on Valentines Day, St. Patricks Day, Easter etc......... The possibilities are endless!!!

You will need some sticky strip,

2 basket pieces,

and a base.

Put sticky strip along the perforated edge on the side that you will want to be the front. Peel off one sticky strip and glue the baskets together putting the edge along the perforated line.

Turn the basket over and now add sticky strip along the bottom (this is the inside of the basket)

Fold the little slits up along the score line.


Start to roll the bottom of the basket along the sticky strip making sure the scored side are along the bottom of the basket and not the little slits.

Keep rolling it along till you come all the way around, making sure to press the edges into the sticky strip. Make sure that the side with the sticky strip is attached to the bottom before you bring the other side around to finish off the basket.

Peel off the sticky strip and press open ends together.Match up your end and your perforated mark and seal the edge of your basket together.

This shows the finished basket.

One big tip: Practice Makes Perfect, and if you mess up....It's Only Paper! - Keep Trying!

Love Card

Hello Everyone:

I hope you are all having a lovely Friday! Yea, it is the end of the week. I always look forward to my weekends when I can clean up my home and enjoy my sabbath day of rest.

This Love card was so quick and easy. I love the colors of this card. I did not use any stamps on this card, just the BIG SHOT DIE CUT MACHINE!!!!! I love that machine. It is so fun to embellish cards with it. You have got to sign-up for my class at NPC so you too can play with it. My next class at NPC will state March 3rd and run through March 31st. It will be at the campus in Show Low. If you can sign-up early that really helps me to prepare for the class. Have a lovely day!!!!!!!!!

I have not received my NEW Heart to Heart Punch yet so I just cut out my own hearts for this card. I can't wait to get that punch so I can punch the hearts out. Makes the making of this card much quicker.

ANYTHING CARD:

This card can be used for anything. You just place the statement you want in the middle of the card and poof you now have a beautiful card. You could make up 5 or 6 or these cards without the statement and when you are ready to use it put your salutation on it.

Valentine Cards

I have been so busy with family I really have not put any pictures on of cards. So here are some of the cards we will be making in my Rubber Stampin' Card Making Class at NPC.

I love the way this card turned out. Most of the stamps that I used were background stamps.

This card was made using a technique that requires using the brayer.

The flowers on this card are cute but I wanted to make it with roses. Only problem is I don't have a stamp set with roses. Oh well the card still turned out cute.
